Reason enough for the traditional US company California Cedar to buy and revive the Blackwing brand. The 6th generation pencil manufacturer looks back on 150 years of experience and today has the Blackwings produced in Japan from its Californian cedar wood. The Japanese graphite is by far the best in the world. Added wax creates a buttery writing feel and revives the Blackwing 602 slogan: “Half the pressure – twice the speed”!
